From the first day, you will experience the VBC way, which isn’t like any other school. We are committed to your success in college and preparing you for success as you define your career goals. All students receive business cards when they arrive so they can begin networking with business professionals. All courses have microinternships (relevant projects) in lieu of a test to determine what you know.  We provide you with opportunities to show what you know. And all students will complete an internship, which we will coordinate for you.  You will be ready for the workforce with your skills and experience.

Microinternships are completed in groups and individually in each course.  They allow students to demonstrate proficiency in leadership, problem solving, entrepreneurial skills, teamwork, communication, and career exploration. Check out your SUCCESS BLUEPRINT.

Virginia Business College Student Services is designed to help students develop and foster the needed tools and critical-thinking skills so that all students have the ability to discover resources, meet challenges, and achieve success. Student Services maintains an open-door policy and students are always welcome. Appointments can be arranged to meet with our staff. The purpose of Student Services is to help students at every level in their academic, personal, and social development as they pursue a college education. All services are free to students. The types of assistance available include tutoring, disability services, and academic advising. Tutoring services are available to all students on campus free of charge.
