We want you to SUCCEED and we are here to help you on your journey through college!  Academic tutoring/mentoring is available at no additional cost to you, only your commitment to attend tutoring sessions and connect with your academic advisor/coach as you progress.

• Academic tutoring: at the beginning of each semester, an academic tutor will visit your classrooms to go over available academic resources for individual and group tutoring and present a schedule of open tutoring sessions.  Online tutoring is also available through SMART THINKING.
• Talk to your professor: faculty are committed and want you to succeed. As soon as you start feeling overwhelmed in a class, ask your professor for an appointment or visit your professor’s office during office hours.  Your professors will also “set aside” additional time for test preparation.
• Meet with your advisor: your advisor will go over study strategies, time management skills, and other coaching techniques to help you succeed.
• Visit the library: the librarian can assist you with reserving a study room or scheduling a tutoring session.
